Florida Production Engineering (FPE) is a supplier to the world's leading automotive manufacturers including Daimler Chrysler, General Motors, Honda, Nissan, and Toyota as well as many of the Tier 1 suppliers. The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ernie Green Industries, Inc. (EGI), was established in 1987. FPE excels in the design and manufacturing of plastic injection molded products including wheel trim, air bag covers, interior and exterior trim, and a variety of structural plastic products. FPE utilizes a number of internal processes such as aluminum overlays, chrome plating, decorative paint application, and assembly.

FPE's Engineering Systems are involved from concept and design through processing and workplace layout. A full Quality Laboratory offers a wide range of environmental testing capability. Research and Development Laboratories are staffed to focus on process and material evaluation. The company's manufacturing facilities utilize synchronous manufacturing techniques to coordinate their production processes and consistently improve productivity.
